Teacher Overview¶
Your Dashboard¶
When you log in as a teacher, your dashboard shows only what's relevant to you:

| 📅 Attendance | Today's attendance status for your class |
| 📝 Pending Results | Subjects with scores not yet entered |
| 📢 Notices | Latest school notices |
Your Primary Class¶
Your primary class is the class you're assigned to as class teacher. It appears prominently on your dashboard. To change it, contact your admin (Settings → Staff Profile).
What Teachers Can Do¶

| Attendance | Mark attendance for your assigned classes |
| Results | Enter CA and exam scores for your subjects |
| Notices | View all notices, post notices (if permitted) |
| Timetable | View your personal teaching timetable |
| Students | View student profiles in your classes |
| Messages | Send messages to parents and students |
Navigation¶
Use the sidebar to move between modules. The topbar shows:
- 🔔 Push notification bell (click to enable notifications)
- 🌐 Language selector
- ⏻ Logout button
Installing EduDesk as an App¶
EduDesk works as a Progressive Web App (PWA). After logging in, click the Install App banner that appears at the bottom of the screen. Once installed:
- Opens without a browser address bar
- Works offline for pages you've visited
- Receives push notifications for new notices
