Parent Portal¶

Logging In¶

Parents log in at the same URL as teachers and admins. Your username and password are provided by the school admin.

If you haven't received your login details, contact your school's admin or email support@edudesk.africa.

Dashboard¶

Your parent dashboard shows a summary for each of your children enrolled at the school:

• Child's name, class, and photo
• Attendance rate this term
• Fee balance (amount owed)
• Latest exam result
• Recent notices from the school

Switching Between Children¶

If you have more than one child enrolled, use the Select Child dropdown at the top of the dashboard to switch between them.

Installing as an App (PWA)¶

EduDesk works as a mobile app without needing the App Store or Google Play:

Android (Chrome): Tap the three-dot menu → Add to Home Screen

iPhone/iPad (Safari): Tap the Share button (⎙) → Add to Home Screen

Once installed, you receive push notifications for: - New school notices - Fee payment reminders - Result publications

Notifications¶

To enable push notifications: 1. Click the 🔔 bell icon in the top bar 2. Allow when the browser asks 3. You'll receive instant alerts for new notices and results

Contacting the School¶

Go to Messages to send a direct message to your child's class teacher or the school admin.
